Imagine Solutions was founded by Jzonna Merritt, a young African American woman who experienced firsthand the overwhelming challenges of reentry after serving time in federal prison. When she returned home, she was met with impossible expectations- find a job, secure housing, rebuild her life. Yet given almost no resources to make any of it possible. The system demanded success, but offered little support.
From that lived experience, Jzonna created Imagine Solutions with one goal in mind: to help returning citizens overcome the barriers to successful reintegration. Her journey is the heart of this mission. Built on compassion, community, and resilience, Imagine Solutions exists to make second chances real and sustainable.

Our mission is to support, empower, encourage, and strengthen communities, individuals, and families by enhancing financial literacy, creditworthiness, generational wealth, and the pursuit of personal dreams and goals. We achieve this by incorporating eight core principles into their lives: Imagination, Passion, Vision, Preparation, Courage, Discipline, Perseverance, and Integrity.

Passion- Something that you feel incomplete without, it brings you complete joy. Your passion is within and your drive can turn that dream into reality!
Vision- Great accomplishments begin with a vision. To obtain a go

Preparation- Start with where you are but know where you were and Go where you’re going! Success is not luck it requires Practice, Research, Study and strategy.
Strategy- Learn everything you can about your passion, Master every detail, consider all possibilities then go for it!
Courage- There will be hardships, there will be pain, and there will be little support from where you expect it, but look back at your passion and have courage that exceeds your expectations to birth a healthy yet realistic self-regard. No excuses!
Discipline - There are rules for everything. Train yourself to do things that should be done. And Resist things that should be avoided. Set goals, stay focused and make sacrifices! Self-discipline requires practice and effort but it can lead to improved productivity better decision making and greater success in life.
Perseverance - Nothing worth having comes easy! There will be obstacles, physical limitations, mental challenges, even resistance from the outside world. You may be met with failure but NEVER give up on your dreams. Stay preserved until you succeed!
Integrity - There are no shortcuts nor room for bad Karma. It’s more important to do the right thing rather than the popular thing. Build your system on uncompromising standards and unwavering values!
